About our kennels
We bought our first bully in 2000 - a big strong brindle bitch called Holly - Colom Timber at Talbadan. Sadly, we lost her last year when her heart gave out after an operation to remove a tooth. We have lots of wonderful memories and photos of holly but we never managed to get any pups from her so her genes have died with her.
Our second dog was Buster - Flintstock Easy Does it for Talbadan. He is the most wonderful, well-behaved gentleman of a dog and we are so proud that he has gained his KC BRONZE GOOD CITIZEN AWARD! We will always be grateful to Alex & Janet Gunn for allowing us to own such a fantastic example of the breed and they are always there for advice and support when we need it. Buster has far too many show wins to list but his amazing show career is still ongoing so watch this space! He is Hip scored at 5:6, DNA profiled and at stud to approved bitches. We can also arrange fresh chilled and frozen semen for AI.
Next came Ellie - Stoneglad Vous Le Vous Avec Talbadan. Ellie has the most wonderful head and confirmation and is a super bitch. She also has many show wins to date including 2 reserve CCs, but our proudest moment so far was her winning the Reserve Bitch CC at CRUFTS under Fran Harris, handled by Paul Latter. The celebrations went on well into the night!! Cath & Paul Latter (her breeders) have been a constant source of help during the last 2 years and Paul made an excellent job of handling Ellie for me. Ellie has had 2 litters, and from the last litter (11/04/08) we have kept 2 pups:
Indie - Talbadan Simply Red, & Madge - Talbadan Viva Le Diva. Both these pups have superb heads and loads of bone. Indie is very laid back and gentle where as Madge is a doggie dynamo! she is never still for a minute and really struts her stuff when she runs! We are really looking forward to showing them both and seeing their litter mates being shown aswell.
